I’m kind of deciding I want to go through exposure therapy, but I don’t really know how to do it. I can’t stand vomit (I had a dream that I got sick and it’s been really hard to eat today, a while ago I had a dream my friend got sick and its hard to be near him, etc. It kind of rules my life.) so do I just go and straight up look at videos and compilations of people throwing up, or do I start with something that only makes my heart jump for a little bit, like people spitting out water or something? Note: I have extreme panic attacks when I see or hear vomit, causing me to curl up on the ground and scratch myself before I can calm down, so don’t recommend anything unless you kind of know what youre talking about. I don’t really want to freak out super bad or anything.
