I think we all have moments where we feel like we can’t push forward, that we’ve reached our limit. Sometimes I feel it helps to shut my mind down, to stop thinking about the past, the present, the future. Sometimes I need to make time for myself, not to focus on me, but to let that focus explode outward. I’ll use that destructive energy constructively by getting to know others, getting lost in a good book or TV show, exercise, play tetris, explore youtube; anything that doesn’t involve letting that hopelessness fester.
If you can’t do any of that, that’s okay too, just try not to let that negativity consume you. Remember there are pleasant days you have yet to experience, and even if it rains for forty days and forty nights, a rainbow will eventually come out, and it will be breathtaking.
