I started living as male full-time two years ago, I’ve seen specialists and I’m getting the ball rolling with hormones now, but I still can’t accept that I have to be this way.
Has anyone else felt like this?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having a rough time. :(

Do you mean, you wish you were just born male and didn’t need to transition?

Deleted User said 9 years, 3 months ago:

Yes, exactly that. And the fact that that will never happen bothers me to no end.

It doesn’t ever really go away, but over the years I’ve started to view my transness and experience with gender in a more positive light. Things would’ve been easier if I’d been born male. I would be happier, safer. But being trans has taught me so many great things and I’m incredibly blessed to live in an age where I’m able to take hormones and have surgery. Bottom surgery for trans guys isn’t in the best place right now but it’s definitely improving. Your past as a trans person will never go away, but it can teach us so many things about respect, acceptance, and staying true to ourselves. It takes guts to be yourself when your trans. Be proud of that strength. Going on hormones will help loads too!
