Well done on making this decision because that is a courageous step.
It’s hard know hoe to get the words out but breaking the silence is important. It might be helpful to try writing out exactly what you want to say and bringing that with you. Having rehearsed it in your mind might be enough but it can reassuring to have it written too so that if you feel unable to get the words out you can just hand the piece of paper over, or read it out.
