or soon this will be the case. many would like to believe me mad when i say that we will eventually reach the point in our world where most people are masked in an avatar; some form, some skin that is not your real physical form. some incarnation of your mind’s idea of what you want to be perceived as.

perhaps it will begin as a miracle. an avatar of missing limbs or to cover up scars and wounds so one isn’t mentally crippled by a disfigurement as much as they may physically be. who of us would vote against this? unfortunately, that will be the candy that lures us into the back of that van, because it will be this that ushers in this age of avatars.

eventually people will have access to this technology (for the price) to cover up a blemish like no make-up can. from there to looking younger (or older), changing of physical appearance (weight, height, eyes, hair), and eventually using the avatar to alter your gender.

perhaps technology will struggle with the limitations of the physical realm, a place where nature trumps idea and fantasy; reality is habitat and seasons. hence comes the uploading of our minds into a digital realm of existence. a place where your limits are only as great as your inability to imagine more; program more.

i’ve been saying they are working to make all this a reality (a word this is becoming quite hollow and flexible) for some time. evolution isn’t a mystery, its a responsibility, and some are taking it upon themselves to take it into the direction they see best fit for mankind.

Singularity

Its already began with the investment into producing android-type beings. first they will clean your house, then control it, lol.

about the only thing that won’t change is the pursuit of freedom, and how it is nothing more than your ability to push your mind beyond the reality that has been created for you.

the reproduction of humans will only occur as a tool to further fuel the digital realm, just as the production of money and goods in our day in age only occurs to further influence us to buy into the false value of things that will inevitably lead us into this alternate age, away from the nature in which we have previously been seeded into.

as much as we enjoy the convenience of speedy service in our hand held devices and interaction through individual profiles, we are merely being groomed to become comfortable and dependent on instants transmission as opposed to gradual growth (within our mind). in many ways our brain is evolving, but away from all the ways we had previously seen throughout history.

Wifi, that thing we want more, is masked as speedy service to all the info we want, but its also a radar of sense. a way to detect and monitor physical gestures as well be aware of actions. we all carry cell phones and either you or your neighbors has internet and a modem. its so easy for all of this to be manipulated to do more than you ever realized it could.

@awesomex15, god bless, energy protect, fate have good will…whatever the form, the soul will always fight to rid the chains that work to confide it…well, sometimes. its a combination of desire to go further and fearing a cage more than you fear falling out of the sky when trying to fly. when the power of fear is trotted over by the will to explore, then no flesh nor mind, simulated or not, will hold us back. though a lot of people are quite willing to shut-up and buy-in. for all we know we’re in the simulation now.

@sugar-girl, maybe a brain teaser is really when your mind finds something too exotic to comprehend and thus stands at such attention that it hurts to not be relieved of the questions you wonder. not unlike a strip-tease is done by an exotic dancer, leaving one’s one at attention. i’d say you have a hard-on for knowledge :p
