A light, blooming, expanding, emerging into sight,
Awaken from infinite, brought into time,
Noises, shuddering, shaking…so loud…from silence,
Shhh…listen…the world is beginning.

Figures swaying, contrast dividing, shapes becoming,
Forming…ideas, thoughts, structures, consistency, hearing…
A voice. Some sound flung into space, into nothing…
But grabbed, held, and understood by something…meaning.

Ground converges, forming safety, structure, security, from the outside,
From the infinite, from the darkness, from fear,
From pre-birth…death.

I hear crying…the world is beginning.

I am…machine? Structure? Not like ground.
So much complexity, so much precision,
A convergence of being, a state of self, of becoming…
Of existing. Who? How? From where?

Questions, perspective, knowing…universe questioning itself?

I hear wailing, a light is calling to me, of what shape? I can’t remember.
I reach, hand towards the light, but my hand isn’t there. Nothing’s there.
I’m imagining things…artificial figures, living pictures, universes inside my mind…
So many noises, so many things, screaming from the silence…
Listen…can you hear it? The world is beginning.

Interesting. I had to sit with this for awhile. Images of the Big Bang, or better, Genesis 1 went through my head for the longest time. Then, just this morning, of a birth. It is amazing how similar they are.

@tanisha They’re definitely similar, I’m willing to incline that much of it also has to do with man’s perceptions. There are many commonly occurring themes associated with creation (whether by a creator or shaped by something else) and birth. I don’t think I’d muster it all up to coincidence. It’s all mysterious, interesting and terrifying at the same time. Mostly because our notions of logic and consistency all break down at that point. Knowledge dissipates, the world ceases to exist, everything crumbles. Who knows what lies after?
