What song(s) can you count on to help pick you up and feel positive?

My favorite currently is Mr. Tembo by Damon Albarn!

I tend to veer more towards baroque/classical/romantic music but if I’m feeling down I usually listen to the double bassist Gary Karr whose performances are simultaneously technically brilliant, wonderfully musical and hilarious (since I’m a double bass player and double bass music usually helps cheer me up!). Or maybe something I’m learning individually in my bass lessons or in youth orchestra

Just one!? Impossible. I usually go with something I can sing along with with great melodies or lyrics. We are Young and Some Nights by FUN. Aha by Imogen Heap and the cover by Pentatonix. This one makes me laugh because I saw the story behind the song by Imogen. He’s a Pirate by Hanz Zimmer. Loved the movies! Invincible by Hedley. Natural Disaster by Pentatonix. These aren’t all the songs I listen to, as I have an ever-changing playlist, but I love these ones to get me going.
