I’m not married or even living with my S.O. just yet, but I have talked to some people and one thing a nice old man once told me was to have at least one date night a week. Just one night a week to go out and have fun, go to a nice dinner, see a movie, escape from the kids (if any), etc. It helps keep the romance there and gives you guaranteed time together.
