you’ll want to wait for steam sales. TF2 is free so there’s always that. It depends on what you like. I like fps’s so I’ve been on a killing floor binge until kf2 comes out.

I second Killing Floor if you like zombie-shooter co-op. Natural Selection 2 is a fun asymetrical multiplayer hybrid of RTS and FPS but it doesn’t run that well on low-end machines so keep that in mind. There’s King Arthur’s Gold which is a neat little 2D Pixelart game that involves some basebuilding and destruction but I’m not sure how popular it is. There is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive if you just want a simple, balanced, high skill-cap FPS.
