I know it’s going to take a lot of courage, but ask him if he wants to eat lunch with you one day so you two can talk in person. You guys could go see a school game or grab something to eat after school. Tell him you want to see if he’s as much fun to talk to in person as he is online. You wont know if he really does like you or not until you try.

From my experince, honestly just approach him and ask start a conversation and bring up something like school functions, or parties, and just ask him is he dating, because he might not be responding since he’s in a relationship. But once you be assertive about why he avoiding you , you will no for sure. And you do deserve ana answer and have the right to approach him since he’s putting you in a grey area.STay Confident, and find out if he want to persue you or not, and from there you can move on.

Or if you want you can alwaya ignore him and stop giving him your attention, because once you stop giving people your attention that is when they come after you. B
