Idk if this is the right place to post this question but here it goes: If you want to publish a book, how do you do it? Do you send a small piece of what you wrote and send it via e-mail?
Do you need to make sure your name and such are written along with the text so there are no copywright stuff?
Can someone please help me?
I’ve been writing since I was 13 and I really am ready to make this move.
Thank you in advance.

p.s- I apologise for my english, it’s my second language

Hi. My name is Kiamesha( also known as “Katherina”) on this site.
1. Get your workwrited so no one can steal your work.
2. Find a publisher either the traditional way or you can self publish

Hi Katherina thank you for replying. How can I self publish a book? Not going to lie, I never heard of that

Ok. First google the process behind what agents or publishers want to see when they receive a submission. Printed copy of the first chapter or two, usually. If they like it, they can ask for a whole thing. Getting an agent helps, and repeatedly applying to as many people as possible helps. Also, prepare to be disappointed. The publishing industry is harsh, my sister in law is a published novelist who literally had a manuscript rejected because it was “too original”.
