Studio Ghibli has really good anime films. You could try Ponyo, My neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, or Princess Mononoke.

You can also find videos adapted from anime. Dragon Ball Z has a movie adaption currently in theaters, or you could show him the Pokemon or the Naruto movie.

This is super late but a great anime for kids are the Little Witch Academia movies. They are really charming and just all around a joy to watch.
