Why do my doctors want me in for this long?

0

My doctors randomly called me the other day to ask me to book an appointment with the nurse and doctor which will last just over an hour and they won’t tell me why. What kind of appointment would be that long? I have a half hour with the nurse and just over a half hour with the doctor directly afterwards. They won’t tell me anything so now I’m worried sick. Any ideas?

They tested me for a cyst and vitamin D but they put me on vitamin D already and the cyst scan came back clear, they gave no indication that I had to go back.

As you dont mention what you have been to the doctors for recently ,we cant say to much here,sorry!<br/.But you must have had some thing looked out, tested for,or there would be no reason t have you come in.
Its not unusual though if you have had something checked out to need to have you come back as a follow up.Perhaps come back here and let us why you went in the first place and may be we can help a bit more ok!

Sorry as I must have been posting close to the time you replied with why you were at the doctors in the first place but also had to attend to something in the middle of my last post.Dont want you to think people dont pay attention. My fault :-(
How long ago was it that you had these things looked into?
If it was a little way back few weeks may be?perhaps they just want to double check somethings, better to be safe than sorry! They are looking out for your needs ,and that more than I can say about some Doctors.Better safe than sorry!.
Try not to work yourself up over it,as It sounds like you have a great Doctor.

The cyst scan was a month or so ago, the bloodtest for vit D was months ago. I think it should be around the time for me to go make sure my levels are back up because the pills he gave me will be gone by then but usually that's just another bloodtest which is why I'm kinda confused cause they haven't booked me in for a bloodtest.

Well I went to the appointment and thankfully it was nothing to worry about. Apparently [I have learning difficulties/disabilities] they just started doing a learning disability review every year. They check your general health over [hence the nurse] and then discuss how your difficulties are affecting you in case you are struggling and need any help with care or learning. I've never actually had this done before in my entire life so it was kinda confusing but pretty awesome. Yay!
