so . yea i talk to myself all the time , i often have long conversations with myself , sometimes i laugh because i said something funny to myself O.o although myself already knows what am going to say, it’s complicated . i got caught in public talking to myself several of times and it was really embarrassing and it was funny to remember the look on their faces like (boy, he lost his mind ) .most people say that’s not normal , creepy , insane and so on. very few say it’s cool nothing weird about it and we all do it .. so why do i talk to myself ? is it healthy?is it bad?am i going insane?why people deny it ?
Well, I for one talk to myself all the time! It's completely normal. I've even done some research on it, because I had the same thought as you. But don't worry, it's normal. Those who deny they don't do it at all are lying. So keep on having conversations with yourself, and don't fret about what other people say. :)
This is something I can talk about for days. Would it help if I said that I talk to myself more than to everyone else surrounding me, combined? I'm not gonna say that those who say they don't do it are lying because that's something they know and not everyone talks to themselves. It's not insane at all and doesn't indicate anything bad. I laugh like a retard when I make funny/crappy jokes, plus, it's a good way to know yourself. I consider myself as any other person so talking to myself is just like talking to anyone else, except the fact that we both agree on everything *giggles*. Don't mind anything anyone says, it's only bad if you think it's bad, but that's not the case, is it?
I think that it's not weird, crazy, or not normal at all. I like to talk to myself a lot. I talk to myself to blow off steam, or talk myself out of a situation. My foster mom said that I shouldn't talk to myself, but I didn't listen to her. Also, a couple people would look at me wierd or my sisters or brothers would make fun of me talking to myself, but I just brushed myself and I still talk to myself to this day. So why you ask? Probably because of the reasons that I do talk to myself (listed above) or some other reason. Who knows! So don't let people make you feel wierd or awkward or whatnot because you talk to yourself.
Pretty much everyone has some degree of dialogue with themselves, it's just that not everyone does it out loud. Some people have an easier time processing ideas that way, or want to work through how something sounds out loud.Sometimes it's just because you want to talk to someone and you're the only one around.Talking to yourself isn't crazy, but people sometimes lump it in behaviorally with 'talking to people who aren't there' because it's hard to tell the difference from the outside. As long as you're just talking to yourself, you're fine. If you're having a long heart-to-heart with Bob the Invisible Demon Clown then there miiiight be a problem.
