I know not all girls do this but why do girls say to you that they’re not looking for a boyfriend and yet down the road they get one?. Is that a nice way of telling you oh hey you’re ugly or you’re not my type?
Why do people think that getting rejected means they are ugly? IT JUST MEANS THEY DONT FEEL AFFECTION TOWARDS YOU PERIOD.
And ya, it's pretty much saying "no" politely, even though I don't think it's polite to lie.
They don't want to say that "it's you." They don't want to hurt your feelings by saying something negative about you as a reason to break up or reject you, whether it be looks, clinginess or that they are plain not interested.
I actually know this because I ended up dating a really creepy guy for three days, he made me feel so uncomfortable but he was extremely sensitive. If I would have told him that the reason why I dumped him is because he was creepy, without a doubt he would have done some serious self harm- he was incredibly unstable. So I told him I wasn't looking anymore. There was my reasoning to it; but it's not necessarily a nice thing to do.
It is possibly that they are not looking for a partner at that time then someone comes along that brings them out of that mind set. Maybe they are being completely honest and just weren't quite ready yet!
ROFLMBO idk y I find the person above me extremely funny lol but yea bro it is a polite way for girls to say no would you rather them say no in your face? And don't assume girls don't like you cause of your looks girls actually care less about the guys look than guy care about girls. So cheer up and smile more :) best of luck
