When does it end?

I swear if I hear or see someone say “It’s Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve” I’m going to lose my shit.

Look, I get that everyone has different beliefs, and I will NEVER bash on anyone’s beliefs. Before anyone tries to bitch at me, read that last sentence again. I AM NOT BASHING ON ANYONE”S RELIGION. If you’re Christian, Catholic, whatever you are and you belive being gay is a sin, then okay. Cool. Thats what you truly believe, thats fine. But don’t you dare try to go and make people feel like shit for being gay. Your beliefs are your own, and I get that. Everyone gets that. But, keep them to yourself if you’re going to be negative about it. You see a gay couple in the store and you don’t like it? Don’t say something, don’t give them dirty looks. Simply look the other way. It isn’t that hard to keep your mouth shut and let things be.

AGAIN THIS IS NOT A HATE POST. I am a religous person, but my beliefs are different. Of course I think things are wrong or inaccurate, but I never argue with people about it just because they believe in something different than me. I keep to myself and let them be happy with who they are. I would never, EVER in my life hate on someone because of what they believe. If that’s who they are and they’re happy, then theres not need to interfere.

I’m just so tired of seeing happy gay couples getting hate or threats because they’re happy being who they are. Anyone can believe in anything. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with that. But, when you try to use your beliefs and religion against someone because they arent agreeing with you or following the same beliefs you have, thats a “No Morals” zone right there. Be civilized with your religion and beliefs. Not childish.

Hi, im Jodi and yes i do have a religios belief but that does not go against gay and it is okay if you are gay/bi/lez/ or any other form. for me, there is nothing wring with that, you like who you want to like and it doesn't matter. its not your fault, its others fault for judging you by the cover. and if a religious belief is against that, then don't comfront that, just ignore it but if it interfears with your daily like, just give liitle warning. Like it is innapropriate. hope this helps x

It will end when the last bigot dies before they pass their hatred and ignorant ways on to their children. Until that day which I really don't foresee getting here, there will be assholes in the world.

I am not religious and so can perhaps have very little to say on the matter - however, it seems to me that narrow minded, simple people hide their fear (?) of what they do not understand behind their "religion/faith". And by dong so, they go against their religion - especially religions such as Christianity where the "law" is supposedly love - love of your fellow beings. I understand your anger - and I too often feel both angry, annoyed and sometimes sad when hateful people voice their disapproval of others. And then I smile and hope that their religion is the truth - because them burning in hell for eternity (as all sinners apparently will) seems to me an appropriate punishment for making other people feel bad for being who they are - in short, for going against the teachings of their own god.

The problem is not the religion, the problem is people using religion when it's convenient, to prove their point. I grew up in a christian family, however we're very loving and supportive of gay people (tbh any sexuality), black people, basically any minority. Religion was supposed to unity people, not to bring hatred. But human beings screw up everything like usual
