What should I do to get rid off my depression?

0

Ever since I moved out from my country I started to hate my life and hate everyone who I see happy. I am very depressed and I weep every night. I started to get angry easily that scared my friends. I tried to focus on something else to forget about my loneliness and anger but it didn’t worked out. I tried to talked with my parents but I felt awkward to talk about my feelings with them so I decided to keep my feelings by myself. And also every time I feel depressed I feel like I wanted to commit suicide. I’ve been feeling very lonely since I moved out what should I do? Should I seek a Psychologist without my parents knowing?

By the way, I’m 16 and I’m a female.

Im a 17 year-old female. I understand where you are coming from, because I have moved many times throughout my life so far. I have lived in four countries and 5 US states. It's really hard to start over and change your whole life around. I also struggled severely with depression problems growing up. I see you said that you can't talk to your parents about your problems because it makes you uncomfortable. Is it possible for you to sit down with one of them(maybe a parent you're closer to) and tell them you would like to see a therapist because you feel that you can't talk to them? Keeping a secret like that and seeing a therapist behind their back with just create stress in your life, and create secrets. Even if they don't know how to talk to you about your problems, and you feel awkward talking to them about them, they'll still want to help you in any way possible. Most of the time, if you get them to reailze you have a problem they can be supportive in finding a way to help you. I also found that the people I was surrounding myself with were doing nothing but bring me down. If it's possible, because I know you just moved, you should try and surround yourself with people who understand and want to help you. Even just having one person(maybe even an online person like myself) that you can talk to, helps a lot. Positive energy really helps.
