What is Wicca?

I’ve been curious about the religion lately and I’ve read a little bit about it, but would like it if someone could explain it more. Is it the same as Paganism? Does everyone practicing Wicca perform spells and if so, why? What’s the purpose of spells? What defines a person as Wiccan? And how do the different types or denominations differ?

Wicca is a modern form of paganism. It revolves around the worship of personified nature, seasons, elements, lunar phases. It does not always involves spells and magic, many times Wiccans believe magic is the use of all the senses or law of nature. It is a very undefined religion because there are various forms of worship within it. The best way to get all your answers is to just keep researching it.
