What is it like to start over?

0

Has anyone ever just moved away and started over? Been thinking about it a lot lately. It’s so easy to want to but to actually do it is terrifying… not to mention a lot of work. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it worth the risk?

I'm honestly in your same position so i'm as clueless as you but i come from a family that moved a lot and when i was younger i use to have to move right with them. It's a scary and nervous experience but it's also a great one. You get to start over and find a better, improve you while making all of those transitions. It's like seeing the world again in a way you know? I say go for and it may be stressful and intimidating for a while but it will be one of those situations you'll never regret. Good luck!

There have been plenty of times when I had to start over. As a child I moved a lot. As an adult circumstances forced me to start over. No matter how many times I had to do this it never felt comfortable. It was scary because I never knew what was going to happen. However, I never regretted any of it. To me it was the beginning of a new chapter in my life. But you are not me and I can't say if it is worth the risk for you or not. I do not know your situation. However, I want you to answer these questions: 1. What are you leaving behind? 2. What are you going towards? 3. If your life was to remain the way it is now, would that be okay with you? 4. Am I moving for myself? 5. Am I scared of what others think? If you can answer these questions honestly you will be closer to finding your answer. I hope you make the decision you feel is best for you. Keep me posted!

It might be a good idea to figure out why you want to run away. Is it because you want opportunity? Are you bored with the chances you have now? Are your family or friends jerks? Or do you want to be away from yourself? How you feel? What you did?

If you're just dissatisfied with what you can do where you are, moving wouldn't be a bad idea. There are parts of it that are scary and parts of it that are rewarding. But if you want to run away because you want to get away from yourself, you might want to seek professional help.
