The internet helped me pursue my interests. I love learning foreign languages, and there are a lot of programs online that I can't just find in town. I also made so many new friends, and I found that I'M NOT THE WEIRD ONE! One of the first feelings to flee was fleeing like I was socially isolated. I still try and be wary by never giving out personal information, and to carefully pick pictures of myself that don't give away where I might live or have any hints to my real identity in the background.

I met a lot of good friends through Twitter and Tumblr, this website gives me a place to vent. I also met my boyfriend on Twitter, sure he lives a little far away but we've met, I'll also be staying with him for 9 days at the end of this month. Also YouTube has helped me with solutions to video games, assignments and fixing small things but that's not as meaningful.

I met my husband of seven years online in a random chat. I've met my best friends on a few forums. I've learned much through researching things on the internet. And games are fun too :)

The internet helps preoccupy me with the things I love. Talking to people online has made me feel different things such as jealously, love, regret, happiness, etc. that have strengthened me as a person.
