What happened?

So, this guy and I use to date. We are still really close. I spent the night with him the day after Christmas. We got along fine before hand and during. When he got back to his home… he changed. He didn’t want to talk with me and he is down right rude to me sometimes. I react in a negative way because he is really starting to piss me off. So, he started to speak with me less and less. The last time we “talked” (I use that term lightly because we were more fighting), was about a week ago.

His behavior is peculiar, but don't torture yourself over it. If he can't be consistent with you, then cut him loose, you do not need that kind of mistreatment and confusion.

Either he levels with you or he kicks rocks.

Could he have had friends at his house? Some people change (and not for the better) depending on who they're with. There isn't a lot of information to confirm this, but that is the immediate reaction I had. Unless, of course, something was said or noticed that may have made him change, like another picture of a boy or mentioning a sensitive topic, like hookups or potentially reuniting as a couple.

I honestly have no idea what happened. Unless he changed or you changes, something like that just wouldn't happen. Maybe something is bothering him about you or maybe it is just about his life in general. Try asking him if something is upsetting him and if he is willing to share he will tell you and you two can work this out

He regrets sleeping with you for whatever reason, and feels guilty about the whole thing. He wishes it had never happened, is irritable thinking you expect more from him now.

It seems like he was ok spending time with you when you were together, but not now that you are apart, but you should really ask him why.
