What do you guys do when you’re down?

What are some ways that you keep your mind focused on the positive, like various creative outlets, distractions, etc? I’m in a fog right now, like everything is gray, and I dunno what to do. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Read a book, drink some tea, take a bubble bath, visit my nieces, watch your favorite movie, drink chocolate milk, look through your baby book, scrape book, go for a walk, a swim, a walk in th e nearby city. It's really things that make YOU happy. You will get out of your fog I promise:)

I play video games or watch anime :D

When I have an hour to blow, I go for a drive out on the country highways to clear my head and so I don't feel trapped. If I don't feel like driving and it's nice out, I'll go for a walk while listening to good music. I don't know what works best for you, but I really benefit from just getting some good alone time to think things through.

I try to set goals that I know i'll be able to meet, like cleaning around the house or organizing my drawers and desk, grocery shopping etc. When I'm down I tend to need to feel like I'm being productive or it brings me down more, so goals help!

I spend time with my family, walk my dog, watch a funny movie, ring a friend, I do yoga (Just follow a Youtube video) tidy my room. I just do something that gets me out of bed and doing something for half an hour.

I do the same as Brook, only try to not stay on your own in your room while your doing so, because when I do that I end up feeling worse. Go downstairs and stay around your family, so you can play games/watch anime and be happy at the same time. Good Luck :)

I like to chill with my hounds, read a book or have a serious chat with a friend until we can't take it anymore and bust out laughing

I usually watch a new movie, or call a friend.

I usually do something that is relaxing, i.e. drawing, reading, or listening to music. Going for a run to clear one's mind is also helpful. If these things are not really yours you can always write your feeligs down (journaling) or spend some time with your pets if you have any.. All the best !

Listen to classical/meditation music, meditate, do yoga, hike, take a bath, draw, many things. :)

I find that cooking or finger painting works best, you get to create and then clean up you gave time to think about happy things while doing positive things it prevents boredom and who can be sad while making a happy mess :D !

I listen or play some music, have a cup of tea, a hot bath... Or a nice training at the gym, it helps release stress and bad thoughts a lot

I always listen to good, happy music that emits good vibes. Any time I feel a negative thought creeping up in my mind, I push it away and think about all the good i have in my life. I sometimes clean, cook, or watch a happy/funny movie. Doing the things like cooking and cleaning give me a feeling of self accomplishment which makes me feel good! :)

Find some electrical things to repair. I love to repair something and see the smiles on the owner's faces. Set up some short term goals. Challenges my self at hings outside of my interest.

Whenever I'm down I listen to literally any and all kinds of music. Just good music. As long as the music is something I like it keeps me distracted from everyone and everything. I also read books (not depressing ones) and watch anime but that may just be me.

When I'm sad, I go for long, slow walks with my dog. I try to take in the scenery around me, and notice things that I've never noticed before. Then I'll find a place to sit outside and breathe the fresh air and look around. No electronics or other distractions, just sit and observe everything around you. It is really calming.
