Find an emotional outlet. Whether it's writing, reading, painting, or making music. I, myself, write. I feel like if no one will listen, then I'll listen to myself. I believe that people are more capable of getting past rougher things when they find that strength in themselves to feel better. At first, I felt painfully lonely with me and my journal. But with my writing, I realized I was capable of much more than the words that I spilled into my journal. I found a voice for myself on paper and in person. And I feel like overall, I am a much more confident and happy person.
Another thing I used to do is whenever I come across a quote that really speak to me, I save it in my phone. I had about 3 pages long and I would read it through when I feel down. Unfortunately, my phone got repaired and I lost it all. Back it up if you do do that.
Another is watching movies. Or if you're more of a reading person then by all means. I like reading too but watching movies are more effortless.
Sometimes if I'm not too down I come over here and listen to people.
Personally I like to drive by the beach with all the windows down and music turned all the way up. Then, grab some food and lay out on the beach and think about nothing. Just stare at the sky and relax.Try going for a bike ride or some kind of activity that will get you moving.
