Youtube videos of baby animals of any kind warms my heart. And also - nostalgia. Doing things I loved as a child. For example, read Donald Duck comic books, have someone read a book to me, sit on mothers lap whilst she plays with my hair or perhaps build a blanket fortress and have a sleepover with my sister in it. Anything that used to comfort me as a child!

Creating and being inspired. I like to take everything I feel and make it into something, or listen and see what other people have made things into. (Such as listening to music, doing artwork, etc). Expression I feel is very important.

I prefer sketching. Whenever I feel upset, depressed, angry or just plain irritated, I convey everything by sketching. But if it's too much to handle, long walks and making conversations with strangers works for me.

Talking to someone about it.

Drawing, writing, or any other form of expressing yourself are great ways to cope with depression. You can pour all your emotions out in just a single piece of paper.Listening to music with very profound lyrics are also great because it's calm and you can relate to the song and the singer's inspiration for writing that song.Laughing is one of the best cures to depression though. It's healthy and can immediately make you feel less sad than before. Try watching funny videos from Youtube, cute animal videos, or just watch your favorite comedy show or movie.

I go outside into the sunshine with a book and stop thinking about myself. At night I will sometimes look at pictures of amazing beautiful people, places, or things, and stop thinking about myself.
