-try something slow and soothing, like taking a nice hot bath
-light a candle or spray something that smells nice (stimulating your senses takes your mind off of the bad things)
-listen to calm music
-call/visit a friend (being alone while youre upset is NEVER good, even though it is a natural instinct to isolate yourself)feeling numb/want to feel alive?
-squeeze ice really hard in your hands
-slap a tabletop really hard (the stinging helps with the urge for pain)
-snap your wrist with a rubber band
-focus on your breathing (meditation)wanting to see blood?
-draw on yourself with red pen in the place where you want to cut
-paint on yourself with red and then get in the bath (the paint turns the water red, making it look like a pool of blood)i really hope this helped. its not fun wanting to hurt yourself, trust me, ive been there.
