Waiting to be called

So I’m sitting in my therapists office just waiting for my name to be called and I’m nervous, has anyone got some quiet and easy techniques that I can calm myself down with? It would be extremely appreciated

Breathe. Deep breaths. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Count to three slowly when you inhale, then to five slowly when you exhale. Just keep reminding yourself that this little discomfort now is leading to you overcoming you anxiety for good. Just keep breathing and when you negative thoughts, challenge it, for example "oh my god I'm going to have a panic attack" stop and tell yourself "no, I won't. Everything's okay. Nothing bad's going to happen. This is helping me". I hope this helps for next time (I assume you're not still sitting there after an hour).

First step is look for straight lines in the rooms, anywhere just straight lines.Next is too just listen, you can close your eyes if you want.After that is smell, smell the air and try to recognize scents.Now run your tongue moving around in your mouth and try and bring back the taste of the thing you last ate.Lastly just thing of all the things touching you, like the softness of your clothes or the wind blowing at you.This is a process that setd your mind into the mode when you are about to eat so it should naturally loosen your muscles and calm you down. If it doesn't work forsy time try it again and possibly longer for each sense.
