It could happen if both people really want to date. My boyfriend is a senior and i'm a freshman. Just remember that at the end of the next summer, he most likely will go to college.

When I was a senior I was in this very situation. I can tell you, people will react both ways. I had people telling me "He's practically a child! Cougar!" And then people were also happy for us. It can happen, but honestly I don't understand why people are so odd about it. If it were the other way around no one would blink an eye. I guess it is seen as strange, considering the responses I got.

There is nothing wrong with the age gap! Lots of people in high school date this way. I say, if you're happy, go for it.

I think that there's nothing wrong with it. Well, I was a sophomore and dated a senior last year so I guess that's just my thought. But I don't see anything bad about it since you (I'm assuming you're talking about yourself) are in highschool and so is the older person.

Last year I was a sophomore and dated a Senior too & it was perfect! If you guys are really into it the go ahead!

As long as the Senior waits until the Sophomore is of legal age to try anything adventurous, I see absolutely no harm. However, you can't stop kids from being promiscuous especially at that age. I would say strict terms from both of the students' parents until the Sophomore is old enough (if the relationship lasts that long.)
