If the reason you broke up was because you needed space and the person gave you what you wanted, maybe you should talk to them and see if THEY have moved on. If you are technically single right now it would not hurt to call them and see how they are. Not sure about your history, but love is worth trying. On the other hand, love should be effortless as far as a feeling and if you are not feeling sad/love/missing them.. move on!
