Should I say yes?

Do you enjoy the company of animals? If so, I would definitely say yes. You may really find spending time with the dogs to be healing and wonderful. If you feel like you need to be around people, then maybe you should say no and make sure that you take care of yourself. Would your brother be okay with you having friends over or anything like that? Then you might be able to do both.

Yes I love animals I have two dogs of my own, I have done the house/dog sitting gig before and allowed to have friends over but currently I have no friends to speak of. I am pathetic I know but I have been isolating myself recently and so I currently reside in my fathers home in order to have some support.

Dogs truly are the best people. I always feel great after spending time with my dogs. Say yes, it will do you wonders. I completely understand feeling pathetic and helpless when you have no friends. I've been there a few times. Friends come and go. In time someone fantastic will come along.
