Should I be mad at my boyfriend for this?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about ten and a half months. Not long for most, but for us it’s been a while since we’re both in high school. He just now told me that there was “someone else” just before we started dating and he took her on one date on valentines day, just a few days before we made it official. He said he liked her but he liked me more so he ended up dating me, and to top that off he still hangs out with her regularly, and never invites me. Should I be mad about this? I mean, he did wait 10 1/2 months to tell me this….

It seems like he was afraid of telling you. When a guy doesnt tell a girl about something that happened a while back, its usually because either he will feel embarassed or that he might MAKE you mad.If you say its ok, and he starts to hang out with the other girl more, there is more and more evidence showing that he may actually be going on dates with her. If you tell him that you want him to spend more time with you, its most likely he will accept it, but there is a small chance he will feel offended. So either way, approach what you'll say cautiously

If my boyfriend was hanging out with someone he had feelings for not too long ago, without me, I would be mad. He could of not told you to keep you from getting mad, or to hide something. Relationships should have honesty, not hiding things.

Be honest with him about how you feel, talk about it together. I think I would feel uncomfortable in your position too.
