Yes, that still counts as self harm anything done to specifically harm your body can be counted as helf harm including drugs, alcohol, burning, scratching, cutting, etc although cutting is the most well known, there are many other things that count if your just starting to do it recently id suggest you do what ever you can to stop :( it gets surprisingly addicting and it absolutely isn't worth it! its extremely dangerous and even if it just starts asscratching, it is very likey it will progress into something even more harmful im here any time if you wanna talk about it or if you need help I understand what your going through!

Yes, any kind of 'harm' to yourself is considered self harm. and darling, you should stop that. You don't deserve that. From your page I can see you are only 14, goodness love, you are at such a beautiful age. And look at you! You are beautiful inside and out. i know it might feel like the right thing to do, like somehow it will help but it's only hurting you more. You deserve so much happiness. If you want to talk, shoot me a message, I am always open to helping. you have so much to look forward to in life~ <3 best wishes.

Yes, it is self harm..And if not controlled it might lead to worse,so you need to take it seriously.. I used to do that too, when I was angry and couldnt take it out on anything else.. But everybody has different reasons to do it, you have one too. If you harm yourself, you definitely have a reason for it, even if you dont know what it is.. Trying to stop is really hard, especially if you dont get help from a professional. You need to get help from someone, not because there is something wrong with you, but because you need knowledge about yourself and the reasons that push you to do this.. If you try to stop scratching without understanding the underlying reason, it can be a temporary solution.. Therapy helps, trust me. I hope you will be better soon, wish you all the luck <3
