Prom?

So as a High school jr I didn’t plan on going to prom. Yet a guy friend of mine who is going its believed that he will ask me. I know he is scared to ask because of something that he said not a rumor. Yet its not my prom so I can’t ask right? or is it ok that I ask him?

Since it is his prom i would wait till he asks you about it, but if it gets close the date of prom and he still hasn't mentioned it and your fairly certain he wants you to go with him it wouldn't hurt to ask.

If you guys are good friends I would just ask him. Since you guys are friends it shouldn't be awkward if he says no, just shrug it off and tell him to have fun at his prom. :)

Just bring it up in conversation and that way you can see what he is thinking instead of just rumours etc.

I would say try to wait it out, but if you're anxious (or if it gets close to the date of prom) you could try going up to him and just straightforward ask him something like "hey.. i heard something, but it might just be a rumor, but were you going to ask me to prom?"
