Hold onto your seat because this is going to be REALLY hard to believe...These kind of thoughts... aren't abnormal. A lot of teens have those growing pains, they feel self-conscious about their changing bodies, and their brains are undergoing some major rewiring so some thoughts just plain don't occur to you. Not because you're dumb or defective, but because your brain is healthy and is just kind of rerouting things to prepare you for adulthood. It's hard to be a teenager especially because your parents tend to take that whole, "Oh, you're just being a teenager, just stop it." approach. Truth is, they probably went through it too, and as adults maybe felt silly or embarrassed for going through that stage.Your parents do understand what you're going through as do a lot of people, but it's one of those things that a lot of people don't spend a lot of time on because they figure you'll grow out of it. Most likely, you will start to grow out of it, but you do need a nudge in the right direction. Talking about your feelings, learning how to process your thoughts, and changing the way you perceive your environment are great ways for you to get through this tough time. When I was young, my mother had me do this INSUFFERABLY ANNOYINGLY STUPID activty EVERY DAY, but it ACTUALLY helped, and she is not a psychologist. Turns out, this activity that she made me do because she was sick and tired of my "moping around" is one that is used in a lot of psychological handbooks like Mind over Mood and generally in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Here's the activity, it's really simple and after a while, your mood will actually improve. Don't expect miracles, it's more like, it'll bring your mood up a bit, there are other things you can do to actually build confidence and all of that. 1. Write 10 things that you do really well or 10 things that you did really well today. 2. Write 10 good things that you saw or that happened today. 3. If you had a conflict at school or wherever, don't assign blame, just write the subject of the conflict and talk with someone (like a parent or some other trusted adult) about possible solutions for resolving that conflict. Did you take the right action or was there something you could have done differently (that you can do in the future)? If you can get in the habit of keeping this in a diary, you will start to see that you become so much more aware of your surroundings, that dark cloud just kind of lifts from you, and you actually learn, in practical terms, how to deal with things that bother you or get you down.Keep your chin up! :)

Hum... that is little info to start wife... Okay, let's start with "ugly"... Do you have physical problems? Your body and/or face is misformed from birth or disease? For I've seen and visited people that are considered "ugly" by society due to these reasons, and they should and will receive surgery. If you do suffer from these illness, then yes, you should have restorative plastic surgeries, and I'm sure you could get them making your case recognized. If you don't, then you're not ugly, just lack confidence. Now,about self confidence: It's hard, I know. Hatred feed on itself, and we hate ourselves, and we hate how we hate ourselves. Making an unendying circle of pain and sorrow. We look for complex answers, when the truth is actually so simple: unhappiness make us ugly to ourselves. Confidence grows with self-knowledge, age and wisdom. Pain make us mature faster, but blinds us for our qualities. You think you know yourself, but you don't. You only judge yourself. Ill-judge, I daresay. There are many ways of improving self-confidence: therapy, good friends, this website surely helps. Please, learn more about yourself, I'm sure your self-confidence will grow.Hate life? Well, welcome to the team. Life was meant to be cheerished, not easy. Life doesn't get any easier than it is now, it's us that need to get tougher. Life has plenty of hateful aspects, but has SO MUCH GOOD STUFF TOO! Maybe not now for you, but hey, my life made hell looks nice, and everything is much better now. Took it's damn time, for sure, but things get better. One problem at a time... Come to this site more often, join the groups, vent at the chat. You'd be very welcomed.Listen to my advice...
