Need help to get the courage i need to quit my job and start my own business.

continue to do it gradually, rather than trying to leap. research has shown that this method of getting a business off the ground can be more effective. find a few clients you can take care of during your down time (as long as you're not competing with your current employer).i recommend the book "start" by john acuff.

im doing the same!!!! its hard isnt it? but yes i do agree with the others its definetly in your best interests to save before quiting and jumping into that. But for the time that you are saving i suggest doing more research into your project and establishing connections to those that will assist you in creating your business. Do not give up! ive been working on my plan for over a year now and im barely half through my buisness plan. may i ask what your business is? Do not be ashamed in asking for help! go to local business owners and seek advice from them. maybe you shoud make a saving plan, like for 6 months, i know its a long time when you hate your job, but it may help

yeah, make sure you have some money saved before quitting, tha way you'll have a back up plan for the future.

You have to make sure you have a backup plan. Make sure to save up enough money ahead of time, like suggested, to have something to fall back on if it doesn't work out.What is your business? Is it something you love doing?You have to market it to get more business, and an online presence will definitely help depending on your business.
