When it comes to parenting, taking care of a child isn't a contest. No one wins. Don't be afraid of losing him, because you are irreplacable!!! When you say your son is 'too good for you'....do you really mean his father?!?! All you can do is your best, and if your son really loves you, he will awknowledge that. Being a family has nothing to do with who's 'better' or who 'wins'....you make it sound like a game. Life isn't a game, rather, a journey. So instead of stressing over tha 'would have, could have, and might be's...' focus on tha 'nows, todays, and memories'. Cherish tha time you do share with your son...and let him know that you wish you could spend more time with him. Most importantly, show, not just tell him, that you care. Caring cannot be measured in hours, days, or events. Real caring is effort, and how much you TRY. So show your son just how vauluable he is, and don't worry about anything else. :)
