Is something wrong with me?

I went to public school my whole life and found it EXTREMELY difficult to make friends. When I was a child I used neopets, then live journal, myspace, Facebook, now I'm on tumblr. I knew people that were homeschooled their whole lives and were social butterflies. Each person is different, give yourself a break. If you really want to make some friends irl but not leave the known safety of your home, talk to people on tumblr. If your willing to just take a little step into the unknown you'll be surprised what you could be rewarded with. But no, there's nothing wrong with you, just try and find a way to find like minded people that will make you feel comfortable.

Making friends isn't easy especially for someone that isn't in the public school system because i think that is where most people get a lot of their socializing skills. The best advice i can give is get a job or go to college or something environments like that are usually very friendly and a lot of people are looking for new friends. Nothing is wrong with you just got to get out there :)

I was home schooled for about as long, I ended up getting a job and have some good friend from there... but I'm the same way, I'm not on Tumblr or any of that. Nothing is wrong with that though.

Did you do any extracurricular activities? Martial arts, sports, scouting, orchestras?

It is normal to not have any friends if you don't want to but life with companies is much more better. I understand your hardship in making friends. It is not as difficult as you think. You can slowly start opening up with new people, go outside your comfort zone and make friends. There are going to be people who don't fit with you, don't get discouraged by it. Remember there are those who fit in too. Who know, you might enjoy friends more than you enjoy tumblr. Good luck :).
