Could she be pregnant? Sure. Absolutely. You have sex you risk getting pregnant. However; it is statistically improbable that she is pregnant. It is more likely she's stressed and worried and she'll get her period in the next few days. If it is longer than a week - she should take a drug store pregnancy test.

One day late is nothing to worry about. We're not machines, it just doesn't work like that.

Dont worry. Im a girl and My peroid changes too. Worrying about this so soon is uneeded stress. if she actually starts experiencings symptoms of being pregnant then you should look into it. But right now dont let it get to you because its probably nothing. I always get scared i am but you just have to look more into the facts.

It's not exactly impossible, as one previous poster mentioned, you had sex, it happens. But it's not 100% likely after a day. Periods aren't always like clockwork, mine change all the time. I wouldn't worry until she's at least a week overdue.

First of all, the pull out method IS NOT a safe method of contraception for either pregnancy OR prevention against STIs/HIV/HVP etc. Unless you have been tested and not only don't have any visible STis but are also NOT A CARRIER for things like HVP and HIV (yes you can be a carrier and not necessarily be infected yourself) you should be using a condom to protect both yourself and your partner. Which you have which is great, but I've noticed a few comments saying that pull out is safe in particular circumstances. It's really not.Second, it is very unlikely that she is pregnant as you were practising safe sex. Periods can be late for a variety of reasons, including a different ovulation/miscalculated ovulation, stress, weight loss/weight gain, getting ill, using medication etc. Not saying that it isn't a possibility, but I wouldn't start stressing yet. It is also very common for young women to be worried about getting pregnant after their first time, which wouldn't be helping the stress situation. She's more likely to be incredibly hyper-aware of her body and worried about getting pregnant now that she's sexually active. If she is really worried, I would suggest a blood test, not a urine test. Not all women produce enough of the pregnancy hormone for it to be effectively detected in a urine test, my own mother was 24 weeks pregnant with me and the tests would still read negative.Third, plan B is not an option after 72 hours (someone suggested this). Plan B needs to be taken within the first 12 to be the most effective and as time goes on, it becomes less effective.

Well, condoms only work 97% of the time and the pull-out method doesn't work as well, so maybe she could be? The only way to tell is if she starts getting symptoms and another would be taking a pregnancy test.

ok, trust me lil bro, 7+ years of sex exp here. 99% that was done with no condom. no diseases. no babies. its perfectly NATURAL to freak out about producing a new life form. 1. you used condom. 2. you pulled out with said condom on and orgasm'd outside the danger zone. With 1. and 2. my 7+ years of experience says you're TOTALLY FINE! Don't listen to all these people that are telling you its so easy to get pregnant, because it is not at all. Its important to back this up with facts so, one fact I will give you is: Do you know how long the actual egg has to get fertilized? Its ONE DAY. After only one day, frodo destroys the ring. got that? ONE DAY. Condoms are pretty useful, but it feels so much better without one. my suggestion is to 1.master the Pull Out Method 2. Become a pro on when your g/f is ovulating (understand the wiki article here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrual_cycle)". use condoms till 1 and 2 are complete. In closing a gift to you lil bro in the form of a quote: "Fear is the mind killer." Once you feel FEAR your brain shuts down and you don't think. I can't tell you how important it is to learn how to resist fear and to keep THINKING. best of luck! you're going to do great!

Hey dude. Most likely that she is not pregnant, it's a normal thing. Sometimes the period is coming late, it all depends on a lot of details - she might get stressed or sick, for example. If you were wearing a condom, everything will be fine, don't worry. Always use protection, not only because of pregnancy, but because of infections as well. I have some friends that are hiv infected, because they are stupid. They took a test from hivrna and were shocked, but this is life.
