Is it possible to fix colour wash without bleach?

-2

About 2 weeks ago, my mum’s green blouse turned a few of my clothes yellow in the washing machine. Most of the clothes aren’t so badly affected, and they only have a few yellow tints which aren’t so noticeable. But my towel was quite messed up. My mum told me that as the colour hasn’t set, it should fade away after a few washes. Eventhough it has gotten lighter, my towel is still quite yellow and I need it tomorrow for swimming. I do have other ones, but I would prefer to take this towel because it’s my biggest one. Is there anyway I can get rid of or lighten the yellow shades? Please give any suggestions which you may have. Thankyou

Also, I read about using bleach online, but I prefer not to use it mainly because it said that bleach may turn my towel completely white. The towel is pink on one side with white polka dots, and white on the other side with pink polka dots. Thanks for reading this :)

Sadly, there is nothing I have found so far that works for removing color, but tide with color safe bleach alternative may help.

the only thing I can think of is either bleach but you said no bleach so the only other thing I can think is to dye it with tye dye. you can do it a solid colour. Good luck

I dont know what country you live in sorry, but I know we have a product, its called...Runaway or Dylon(brand name) Fabric Stain Remover Colour Safe Runaway. Its just for this problem.Or I just ask for Runaway stain soaker
You soak in a bucket the item effected by the color and in a couple of hours, some times more, some times less, its all back to normal.Run Away smells awefel ,real aweful Ill admit, but it works.
Try may be on line to see if you have it where you are.It comes in a small sachet. It may be in KMart if you live in USA if they do sell it there or if you have a Woollworths store .Good luck!
