Is it normal to have conversations with yourself?

0

Most of the time when I’m on summer break my parents leave me alone in our house. There aren’t any other kids my age in our neighborhood that I can go hang out with, and I’m not allowed to leave the house. So when I get bored of watching TV or playing videogames, I usually walk around the house. While I walk around the house I tend to have full-on conversations with myself, sometimes even bitter arguments. Is this normal?

As long as it's something you consciously do, rather than something you can't control.

Sure, I'd say so. I do it myself when I start feeling lonely and just for fun.

Yeah it really depends. I have full on conversations in my head, but i don't think i argue with myself. Unless you are thinking in conflict with yourself, which is sort of like arguing. I don't think its abnormal, unless you start hearing a voice different from your own.
