I’m questioning my gender?

1

I sometimes feel completely like a girl, and feel as comfortable in my skin as possible for someone with an eating disorder. Other times I feel more like a guy, but yet I wouldn’t get a sex change or anything. And again other times I don’t really feel like either.

I’m really confused as to what this would be?

You may just feel gender fluid. Unless it's causing you difficulties in daily life, then just embrace it. There's nothing wrong with feeling one way or the other at different times. If it starts to affect your relationships or your responsibilities then it would be time to consider seeing a therapist. They are much more qualified to guide you into a place of self acceptance and content happiness. Try to avoid seeking out labels or disorders to try and give it an identity.

You're gender fluid, someone who feels a dynamic mix of the two traditional genders, sometimes feeling more feminine on some days, and more masculine on others! It's really up to you how you want to approach the situation. If you decide to start wearing binders on your more masculine days, make sure you are safe and do lots of research. (No Ace bandages!) For me personally, I don't see any need in publicly talking about it if you don't want to. I decided not to come out as gender fluid and just to be how I want. If someone asks, then I'll explain. Then again, that's also something completely up to you!Good luck and remember, while cliche, just be yourself! You'll find that with confidence, comes acceptance.
