I’m growing weak physically

0

I start for school at about 6:45am, & come back home at around 4:00pm. The school hours are really long and quite often I skip meals which I never did. Sometimes if I would wake up late at about 6:20am or so , I would skip breakfast for the fear of getting late for school . At times Mom is not able to provide me with a hearty breakfast bcoz its difficult for her to cook so early. Even if mom gives me tiffin , n I eat it . I’m awfully hungry by the time school gets over. I buy something from outside the school . But its not healthy to eat everyday from these stalls. My school is really far away 4rm my home &; by the time I come back my hunger has died out & I’m very tired. I get less sleep too. In cls 12, its really difficult to manage my studies as well as pay attention to my nutritional needs. I’m growing weak day by day ,Please help.

how about planning ahead? ....for example...lets say you have school five days a week...when you go food shopping on Saturday...don't just buy an apple to eat that day, no....try buying 7 apples all at the same time, only eat 1 per day, ....buy healthy snacks in advance and ration them out so you can have a daily snack while you are on the go....remember "Victory Loves Preperation"

Well the good news is that you understand that not eating properly is a huge problem and it interferes with everything else like you probably find it hard to focus on your studies and just about everything else. I know how hectic school can be cause I had the same schedule and went through the same problem, ended up losing too many kilos in too little time. So the best thing would be to sleep a little early and wake up a bit earlier and making oatmeal for yourself. It's easy to make and has a lot of carbs and protein and it will keep you full throughout the day. But if that's not possible then make sure you have a tall glass of milk before you leave, add a spoon of oatmeal in that if you can and also have an apple (you can have that on the go). And you could bring a granola bar to school or some fruits. I think that should get you back in track, if you're still having problems then you can message me and I'll help you out. (:

You should start by being sure that you are meeting your nutritional requirements. You are old enough to calculate your TDEE online and see, by doing some weighing and calculating calories, if what you usually eat gets close enough to what you need. Practical stuff: what is a food that you can grab and eat fast for breakfast? Plan with your mom what foods you two can start including in your grocery shopping. Something like preparing yourself a lunch bag the evening before can get you out of this. A sandwich with cheese, a banana, a handful of nuts and dried fruit are all things that you can easily fit in your backpack, or eat while you walk. In the evening I suppose you could drink a protein shake, it's a bit of a peculiar suggestion but from experience it goes down easy, hungry or not, but vegetables and meat or legumes would be better.
