This is totally normal, and you will grow out of it eventually. When I was younger, I was so attracted to the animated John Smith from "Pocahontas" and my sister liked Johnny Bravo haha. Don't worry about it, but if you wanna try to do something about it, go out and meet some real life girls (:

Most characters do have a purpose of trying to make said gamer have a connection for a better response in games, for instance. There's a certain character that dies in a war, he was a childhood friend of a friend of his, they'd been together in that was for 3 games... He was on a mission to find his wife.. and he killed himself to save his friends and troops. It made me sad, I felt sorry for him. It's the same with people in movies. You have that connection for that purpose. You can still play your game, just realise and keep telling yourself that you will never actually get the girl, he isn't real, she's just pixels. In the mean time play some other games to get your mind off of her, or when you're in school talk to actual girls.

Everyone goes through it at some point. I was head over heels for "Thirteen" from House M.D. then i moved onto having a huge crush on Olivia Wilde (Olivia if your here, your my future wife you just dont know it yet ;) jk!) but either way, the characters qualities and attributes are appealing to you. Its all good, keep in mind there is someone in this world that shares those characteristics in the mean time there is no problem with day dreaming.

That also makes total sense because she's modeled after Ellen Page, whom I have a gigantic crush on, so.. Yeah, don't even worry about it. I used to have a massive thing for Link from the Legend of Zelda games.
