All I ever do is listen to music, use the internet and read books.
I want to study but I don’t. I force myself to sit down and study but I JUST CAN’T I don’t pay attention. I try and I try but I DON’T ! I need to study so I could actually be capable of doing something in life which will make money and I want scholarships so I could move out cause I don’t like it at home. are there any methods I could use?

Hey there, Lucidity! :DD
If you want to focus on studying, there's an app called Rainymood which will make rain noise to help you relax!

I had to find somewhere that worked for me...I do best on the silent floor in the library. It depends on the energy and background noise you can handle. I know some people that do best in a crowded coffee shop or with other people...I would try different scenarios every time and see which one works at least a little and keep pushing yourself. Maybe add 5 minutes every time you try... so like if you make it 45 minutes, next time aim for 50. Eventually it may get easier. I think studying is a habit you have to get used to. It took me years to figure it out. Good luck!

I have a hard time forcing myself to actually sit down and study, but once I get started it's not so bad. I usually tell myself that once I'm done studying, I'll treat myself to something nice (like chocolate or a movie night out with friends). Perhaps giving yourself incentives will help :)

All of this is good advice :) also, the pomodoro technique: Choose a task to be accomplished. Set the Timer to 25 minutes Work on the task until the timer rings. Take a short break for 5 minutes Every 4 sessions take a 20 minute

Hi, I feel the same way! I have exams next week but haven't been able to concentrate. I'm using a technique which is starting at 20 mins and revising a topic. Then have a 10 minute break and have something to eat or watch TV. Then go back and revise the topic for 10 mins, then revise another topic for 20 mins. (gradually builds up time). Hope this helps.

I know exactly how that feels. I am very much a procrastinator. No one could make you study if you don't want to. In the end, its still gonna be your decision if you really want to study or not. I've tried every successful study habit I can cope with, but to no avail I still do what I want and waste my time away. But here are some mighty words from anonymous people [~that helped me so much to stop my procrastination] & that I hope would help inspire you to force yourself - mind & body - to study for that scholarship :DAnd its not about the bad habits, its about the motivation!"At first glance, it may appear too Hard -- Look again. ALWAYS LOOK AGAIN" "Remember why you Started" & "There is no elevators to success, You have to take the stairs"YOU know you can do this :D Good Luck!

Sometimes, only a person who is confident enough in whatever they had learnt are capable to be "I can't study anymore". You might be though. (I hope this don't stop you from studying). All the best, Confident.
