Everytime I have wanted to cut, I take a sharpie and write "Love" wherever it is i want to cut. Take a hot shower, listen to music, go for a run, write in a journal, draw, discover something that you can do as a distration. just make sure it's positive
Please don't :( I was a cutter since I was 11 and I'm 20 now... when you feel you need to cut, just write the name of someone who is special to you and someone who inspires you... and do it in permanent marker with a heart around it.. if you dont cut the heart lives.. if you do you break it. but chances are you wont cut because that persons name keeps you alive and makes you realise how special you are
Cutting is bad (Obviously...) I guess it depends on the reason for cutting I've learned a couple tricks to just ignore the urges but it is hard :/ If you want you can message me any time you feel the need to cut and I can help you through it. Feel better. :/
The only thing cutting does to yourself is make scars, and after the work is done you may regret it even more so. Be strong and know you can override the thought of self-harm.The cuts hurt worse than the feelings, and in reality it does nothing but make you feel worse. I believe that you can stop the thoughts of suicide by simply trying to put your mind somewhere else.
