I need Ideas…

okay so my friends and I since 3rd grade are getting together on January 2nd to exchange gifts…. well I haven’t gotten either of them anything yet.
let’s call her Sydney- she is 16 almost 17, likes pink, is art club president and also loves to write, and I’ve given her everything that I could come up with in the past so I have no clue what to get her now. She’s the more difficult.
Let’s call him Daniel- is 16 and he likes dark chocolate which I’m planning on getting him, he is a boy scout, and a swimmer.
they now go to a different school than me and have since the beginning of last school year, so it is more difficult buying for them since I don’t get to see them that often anymore and I don’t know if their interests have changed at all, Sydney said anything pink but that’s more difficult than it sounds, I just don’t know what to do. please leave your opinions. I need them as fast as possible.
any help would be wonderful! I’m also on a low budget of say around $20-30 total I know its small but it’s all my mom will give me for them.

Try talking to them, ya know, catching up. So they both tell you what they've been doing and if anything is new with them. Use that as a way to think of an affordable gift for them.

Get the girl a pink journal or art pad with a cute own or pencil case. The guy a funny beach towel and some goggles. :-) hope this helps.

gift certificates are always nice! because then they can get more specifically what they want with them. or say you wanna take them both out to a nice ish lunch and movie or something. for her you could do an art store giftcard, for him something else!

See if you can get talking to them. If you feel like you don't really understand them well enough to decide on something, just chat them up. Feel free to ask questions about them, they're your friends. And with what you find, you can go from there. I think that they'll be happy with whatever you happen to get them.
