I don’t want to tan but I love sun?

I’ve always been a huge sun lover and I feel like without it I’m super depressed :( But there’s a problem, I’m also kinda tan with those yellow undertones and I tan so fast and it’s so frustrating! I don’t want to be tan anymore, these days it’s all about pale girls and it makes me so self conscious.. Especially when my friends say “Uh..I just wanna stay away from the sun, I like pale c:” and act all shy and emo OMG IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL SO UGLY AND PISSED OFFF and I’ve read that “pale is a sign of wealthiness” it’s just so frustrating and it kills my self esteem :( Why can’t being tall, tan and thin be the beauty standard :(
So what do you recommend? I don’t want to use bleach or anything omg..I just don’t wanna get tanned because apparently people don’t love tan and when people hate something it makes me hate it too! I can’t help it. HELP please.

You seriously need to stop following what people say and just be yourself, if you love the sun then fuck it, go out and enjoy yourself, its what makes you happy. And if that isnt enough then welp, use sun-block. Look for a sunscreen that blocks BOTH UV-A and UV-B, UV-A leads to cancer and skin aging, while UV-B is what changes your color. Sunblock is made of reflective particles that physically prevent the light from reaching your skin.I heard that sunblock made by Neutrogena is really good, you could be out on the sun for about two hours and come back without a tan line.Good luck.

Honestly, I don't think you should avoid being tan if it's because you want to be accepted by your looks. To be honest, I never knew that being pale was an ongoing "trend." Also about the pale skin being a sign of wealthiness, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that, and I'm highly skeptical about it. Do you mean wealthy like your body is more healthy? I mean back in the good old European ages it was a sign of being in a higher status aka being wealthy. Overall, I don't think you should put too much thought into it because true beauty is related more to inner character in my personal opinion.

Don't worry about how other people see your body. Your skin is your skin, doesn't matter what tone it is, it's still beautiful. Embrace it. If you love the sun, then hang out in the sun. You shouldn't let societies standards of what is beautiful stop you from doing what you like. Society's idea of beauty is constantly changing anyway. In a few years, maybe tan will be considered "beautiful." You shouldn't waste your time trying to keep up with it. Be yourself, and your own version of beauty. The people who are worth keeping in life shouldn't and won't care about your skin tone. They'll love you for who you are as a person. If you really don't want to tan, just wear sunscreen and chill under an umbrella. But the sun is a natural, beautiful part of nature. Don't hide from it (:
