I don’t know what to do anymore

0

I’m in college right now, with limited money. I want to graduate in four years, but I decided on my major too late, now it may not be 4 years. On top of it I have to squeeze in five or more difficult classes such as organic chemistry and genetics each semester and I don’t think I can do it. I will be packed and have little time to myself and I know I will be stressed because I won’t be able to handle a job, though I really need the money. I feel like giving up, I don’t know what to do anymore. On top of it all, I don’t even know what I really want anymore. All these difficult classes are turning me away.

Don't give up on your education, you need to take it one semester at a time. Use tutors on your campus. You may have to work harder than others because of your limited budget, but make the most of the time you have, if you take four years and still need another year, you should be able to take off a year or two and save up money so you can finish. It is quite common these days to take more then the traditional four years. You are not alone. I know many people in the same situation. You have to believe in yourself, I'm not saying it is going to be easy, but you have to try. You owe it to yourself. You can also apply for scholarships while in college, find a scholarship that fits you either online or at your university. But you have to believe in yourself! Good luck!!

Currently graduating from college right now. I know what you are going through, and man is it tough. But I can tell you, it's really worth it in the end. One thing my mom told me that helped me through it was "Just take it one day at a time. You'll manage." You may not want to hear this, maybe because of your financial situation, but it's okay to not graduate in four years. A lot of people don't. Most of the people I'm graduating with right now, didn't graduate in four years. In fact, I've got a friend that still hasn't graduated. Don't forget about summer classes, they are hard to take, but it helps lighten the load in the end. You can always only take the minimum to remain on fafsa and get a part time job too, it sucks, but you'll make it through it. Just remember "take it one day at a time" take lots of deep breaths and talk to some of your friends and professors. Many professors will help out students who need some extra time on assignments because of certain situations. Best of luck.
