I am so sorry that you feel that way:( You definitely need to talk to someone that you trust! Make a list of things that you can do instead of self harm. (Like ripping up pieces of paper, listening to music, taking a long shower, scribbling on peoples faces in magazines etc..) If you ever need anyone to talk to I am here for you! :) I have dealt with depression & self harm, i'm always here!<3 You are beautiful & amazing & YOU ARE LOVED.

If you want to stop cutting it has to be because you want too, and it takes willpower self-harm is an addiction and can be a difficult one to break. One way you could try to ease up on the razor blades and to still feel something without doing really any harm is to wear an elastic band round your wrist and to ping it when you get the urge. Stay strong and make the right decisions.

Every time I try to stop, it doesn't work. My boyfriend walked in on me cutting, and he flipped out at first. He threw my knife across the room, and he screamed at me once. Then he talked to me about it. I want to stop, not because I want to, but because he wants me to. And I want for him not to be upset with me when I cut. I promised him I wouldn't cut. Then I cut again 2 weeks later. Going two weeks without cutting is like a world record for me.

I think it's a little late but I want to tell you how I try. It hard, it was hard for me. . But you could put a rubber band around your wrist and every time you feel like cutting pull the rubber band and let it hit your skin. Another way is to draw a butterfly on your skin. The butterfly is someone who cares about you or someone you care about. You can't wash it away you have to let it wash away on its own. If you cut while the butter fly is on you skin then it dies.
