What you are saying is really ambiguous. Try answering the following: 1) How long have you been binging? 2) Define binging - what is your definition? 3) How is this affecting your life? 4) What lead you to the conclusion that you have an eating disorder? I can go into treatments and things you can do to sort of help yourself, but you would first need to confirm or deny that you have an actual disorder. Sitting around eating a bag of chips a couple of times a month isn't what one would consider to be a disorder.

The best thing to do in this situation is to consult a doctor, nurse, or qualified professional to see whether or not this is a disorder. Emotional Over-eating can be a symptom of many things, but it does not necessarily equate to Binge Eating Disorder. Imagine the relief to find it might not be a disorder! Getting help in the earliest stage possible will benefit your recovery in the long run if it is BED. Message me if you want to chat or need more information, I have struggled with BED for a very long time. Hope you are doing okay xx

The reasons for my binge eating were either I was bored, stressed or really depressed. Eating food is like a comfort to some you are focusing on something else than what is going on around you. I am slowly cutting down on snacking , swapping it with a pint of juice/water, piece of fruit, finding something to do like crosswords etc... Having a snack now and again is okay in moderation, it is tough but I am fighting through the urges. Hang in there, you can do it; find something to put your mind off it. :) x

I have Bulimia Nervosa, so my advice might not help very much. I restrict during the day and then I always end up binging at night. My dietician told me that I need to make sure that I'm getting in three meals a day and plenty of snacks, because I binge due to hunger. Why are you binging? Is it because you're hungry? I think a dietician could really help you with this problem! They will give you a meal plan.
