How to play D&d

ok I know this sounds dumb but my husband plays a game like D&D on aol in a chatroom with a bunch of other people (any one heard of this?) and he is always talking about how i should try to get in and play so we can have something to talk about and do together since having 3 kids going out isn’t much of an option and this is something he really enjoys so I want to surprise him and learn how to play as i know i would probably frustrate him if i let him teach me can anyone help me out?

D&D is a tricky thing to learn. There are a lot of things to learn to fully grasp the game. I am sure if you just ask him to teach you, he would be thrilled. Besides, teaching you is something that you two do together! If you want to learn a little before you ask him, go to this site (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-archive/threads/883556). The person did a good job at quickly going over the basics.

I'm over it I found out today that he isn't just playing he is having relations with a few of the other girls that play so im good thanks for the advice though it was great!
